November 2003

After completing a thrilling and exhausting run in the San Francisco Fringe Festival, where my musical play The Seventh Game of the World Series had a four-show run, I traveled to Germany to visit friends and family, and also helped Rova with their brief German tour. Unfortunately, I also contracted a nasty ear infection that's laid me low ever since returning to San Francisco towards the end of October.

Now that I'm feeling better, I'm proud to be finishing up a book for Mytili Jagannathan, who'll be visiting from Philadelphia to read from it at Small Press Traffic on November 21st. I'm also helping Stuart Bousel, who performed so brilliantly as Louis Lalime in 7th Game, with a short run of his funny and moving play Speak To Me, which premieres November 13th at Spanganga Gallery, 3376 19th St. (at Mission).

After that, I'll begin scheduling more Friday night readings at my apartment in the outer Richmond, and looking forward to the next habenicht press project.
