Scott Pierce, Anna Eyre, and Joe Massey

Anna Eyre lives in San Francisco and is a sifter of cake flour and letters. She imagines her pet octopus to ink effusion through her pen. Anna will graduate soon from CCA with an MFA and pursue desert. Her first chapbook, Metaplasmic, was published by Effing Press in 2004.

Joseph Massey was born and raised on the outskirts of Philadelphia. He moved to Eureka, California, three years ago. His work has most recently appeared in Effing Magazine, Mirage/(Period)ical, Oyster Boy Review, Bongos of the Lord, and Cranky. He is the author of two small books of poems: Minima St. (Range, 2003), and Eureka Slough (forthcoming from Effing Press).

Scott Pierce lives in Austin, Texas with his cat Floyd and is the bus driver of Effing Press, publishing books (soon), chapbooks, and the lit journal Effing Magazine. When he’s not all edity/publishy he writes poetry and records noise. A chapbook is forthcoming from Skanky Possum Press.

Public trans: From downtown San Francisco, take the 38 Geary or the 31 Balboa, and get off at 35th Ave. Driving from the East Bay: 580 West to 9th St./Civic Center exit; north on 9th to Hayes; follow signs to go west on Fell; turn right on Stanyan, left on Fulton, right on 35th (Balboa is two blocks north). My building is the big one on the northwest corner of 35th at Balboa. Ring the buzzer for apartment 204.
